Anybody who comes into the forest will be lost.
Everybody will become a Stalfos. Everybody, Stalfos.
Heh heh heh. Are you going to be… too?

A Teddie Bear

morglea:

So for writing P4Abridged, I’ve been trying to figure Teddie the fuck out. Semi-word vomited this “children’s story” explanation. Not entirely sure if I’m 100% sold on this theory…but if I could rewrite the character, I sure as fuck would go down the fairy tale route instead of the vaguery presented in both the game and the anime. Anyway, this is how I tend to make notes to myself in the writing process, so I thought I’d share it. Enjoy that abrupt ending because my blood sugar is low, and I can’t think straight anymore!

…welp, now I have to record myself reading this in the voice.

this is literally the most overused picture of Sonic on the internet and it doesn’t even look remotely good
that obnoxious coloring job, that implied mohawk, that overall pretty bad drawing, its just not good at all and is constantly used to represent Sonic on the internet, y :v

Art isn’t judged by its look but by its history. If you knew why this picture of Sonic was used so much. Then you wouldn’t be saying things so bluntly.
This was one of the first art concepts for the Sonic the Hedgehog game. The classic Sonic if you don’t know. The original Blue Blur.
Yeah, you might be use to the new, clean style like this…

But Sonic didn’t always look like this. Let me tell you that. I want you to go look back at Mario and tell me if he still looks the same from 20 years ago. Same with Leon Kennedy from Resident Evil 2…he changed. As well as Dante Sparda and so on. So you should watch what you say. Cause you aren’t too, fast on the history of Sonic…but I can understand. Since he’s too fast for you to catch up with.

This was not one of the original pieces of concept art of Sonic back during his creation. This was around 1994-1998 era internet artwork, done by Sega of America for game packages such as “Sonic & Knuckles Collection”, several of the Sonic cartoons, comic books, and other things featuring characters such as the Freedom Fighters and whatnot.
THIS is the original Sonic concept art. Drawn by Noato Oshima when trying to create a good mascot for Sega in 1989 / 1990.

Sonic was originally known as “Mr. Harenzumi”, aka “Mr. Needlemouse” or “Mr. Hedgehog” depending on the translation. After such his finalized design was this:
Sega of America took this design and reconfigured it for their audience, thinking it looked “better”. The results to this were…

 and….
So no, they had much better choices of artwork to choose from for classic Sonic. The Sonic this is (and sadly is the most remembered) is “American Sonic”.

I cant help right now, but hopefully some of y’all can.

I signed up. If you’re concerned with this situation and have the means to please consider doing so as well. Raising awareness is good, but it only does so much if everyone expects “someone else” to be the one who takes action. This is a concrete way to directly influence the issue if you’re in a situation that allows you to afford it.

RIP Spaghetti 2011-2014

A few months back, we discovered that our cat Spaghetti had been born with a defect that was causing his organs to move into his heart sac, causing him to throw up all his food and making it impossible to live a healthy life.

With the help of many, many donations from fans and friends, we were able to afford the surgery he needed to try and fix the problem. He had three very full and happy months following the procedure and we can only thank everyone that contributed to giving him some extra time on this earth.

Unfortunately, this past week, we learned that his stomach had begone shifting into where his small intestine began and it caused him to throw up even more than before and it became impossible for him to eat. We were told by the doctors that any attempt to fix this complication would cost even more than the previous surgery and that it wouldn’t even guarantee him a healthy life - only the chance at one.

The last thing we would want is for Spaghetti to continue suffering, so with a heavy heart, we asked that the doctors put him to sleep yesterday.

I’ll always remember him as my friend - as my son - as an important part of my family. I’ll remember him comforting me in my worst moments, and waking up to his face every single morning as if he’d been waiting for me.

I’ll wait for you now, old friend. Every single day.

I miss and love you so much.
